SpaceAgro
The problem
- Soil testing ends with a complex lab report, not a decision
- Farmers need a simple answer: what does my soil need, and how much fertilizer?
- Fertilizer decisions are made without field-specific soil data
The solution
- Lab analysis - pH, humus, phosphorus and potassium
- Agronomic algorithms - Results digitized and processed
- Field and crop specific - What fertilizer, how much and where
- In the app - Simple, actionable guidance
Founders
An AgriTech entrepreneur who grew up in a farming family and has farmed himself: studied Crop Breeding and Seed Science, with experience in soil analysis, agronomy and AI-based digital solutions. Has generated more than UZS 286M in revenue through the project (about UZS 186M of it in the last 30 days) and raised $20,000 in investment and a $50,000 grant.
Practical experience
Farming - farms himself and grew up in a farming family.
In other words, he did not study the target customer's problem from the outside; he has been that customer himself.
Practical expertise in soil analysis and agronomy.
Experience developing AI-based digital solutions.
At SpaceAgro he develops the product concept, business logic and technical specifications; the code is written by an in-house team led by the CTO.
Achievements
Raised $20,000 in investment
Education
Studied Crop Breeding and Seed Science.
This is no coincidence for SpaceAgro: the core of the product is turning soil analysis results into agronomic decisions, so domain knowledge forms the very logic of the product.
Raised a $50,000 grant
More than UZS 286M in revenue - built a working product, brought it to market and generated real revenue
For a 21-year-old founder, raising $70,000 in external financing is a serious indicator: it shows experience working with both investors and grant committees.
Why this project
The founder's formula: "We know this problem from the inside. I grew up in a farming family, have farmed myself and studied agriculture."
The important point is that he understands the problem from both the practical and the scientific side - he has worked in the field and been educated in the same domain. This combination is rare in AgriTech: usually a team knows either the technology or the field.
Why this team
The team combines experience in agronomy, software and business development.
Abduvahob Qahhorov, CTO - worked at Robocode and UIC Group, 5+ years of experience. Manages backend, frontend and app development on an in-house team basis.
Shaxbozbek Xakimov, co-founder - PhD in agricultural sciences, 5 years of experience in the field. Met the founder at the institute and has been working with him on agriculture and innovation projects for 2-3 years.
Shovkat Xoldorov, soil scientist and remote sensing expert - interprets soil analysis results, develops fertilisation norms and formulates agronomic recommendations.
In other words, the team has a PhD-level agronomist, a soil science expert and a CTO with 5+ years at the same time - the entire chain from soil analysis to recommendation is covered by in-house expertise.
