Drone EduTrain
The problem
- No systematic drone methodology in Uzbek
- Teachers have no drone skills
- Almost no drone specialists in industrial sectors
The solution
- Drones - Under 250 grams, camera-free
- Methodology - Textbooks in 3 languages
- Teacher - Dedicated training course
- Service - Ongoing technical support
Founders
7 years of experience in drone and aerospace engineering. A path that began at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent and continued with a Master's degree and industry experience in South Korea. Currently a lecturer at that same university.
Research results
His research at Gyeongsang National University's Distributed Aerospace Systems and Control laboratory has been published in respected international journals:
- "Tilted Circumnavigation of Multiple Drones Around Multiple Targets" - IEEE Access, 2023. A strategy for coordinating a group of drones along a tilted circle enclosing several moving targets. Co-authors: Vladimir I. Shin, Yoonsoo Kim. The same work was also presented at the ICCAS 2023 international conference
- "Bézier Curves for Smooth Entry into Elliptic Orbits" - International Journal of Aeronautical and Space Sciences, vol. 25, no. 2, pp. 622-634, 2024. SCIE and SCOPUS indexed
International competitions
- Doha Oasis for Innovation international forum (Qatar) - silver medal, representing Uzbekistan
- Korea Summer School competition - 1st place. Project: a system for monitoring the water level of the Aral Sea and the growth of saxaul planted on dried-up areas using drones. A research paper on the results was published at a conference that same year
Industry experience
SEESAW D&U Co., Ltd (South Korea) - Researcher & Overseas Sales Manager, 2024-2026
- Applied to more than 100 companies in Korea, received offers from two, and chose this drone manufacturer
- Worked with various types of drones and took an active part in projects that won several Korean government R&D and manufacturing grants
- Worked with the Uzbek market from Korea: brought two large VTOL drones with 2-3 m wingspans to Uzbekistan, tested and demonstrated them, and signed a contract
Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent - Lecturer, 2026-present
Education and grants
- Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent - Bachelor's degree
- Gyeongsang National University, South Korea - Master's in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (2020-2022). Research topic: Multiple Drone Control Systems
- Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) - the Korean government's fully funded grant, won twice: 2019 (Summer School) and 2020 (Master's)
- $5,000 university grant - in 2nd year, 100% coverage of one year's tuition
- UzAuto grant - won in a competition in 4th year (declined voluntarily as the terms did not fit his plans)
- "Best Graduate Student Award" - awarded by the university leadership for completing the Master's with top results
- Korean language: TOPIK 3 (intermediate)
Why this project
For two years he tried to sell professional drones to Uzbek organisations and learned first-hand that, in practice, there were no sales. His conclusion: what opens the market is not the device but education - building general, fundamental drone knowledge opens the next doors. With that goal he returned from Korea at the start of 2026.
