01Who we are

UzCombinator is a startup accelerator based in Tashkent. This page covers uzcombinator.uz and my.uzcombinator.uz.

02What we collect

If you apply, we keep everything you wrote in the application form. That is:

• your name, email address and phone number
• your startup's name and every answer in the form — team, product, market and traction
• if you signed in with Google, your Google account identifier and the email on it

If you only read the site, nothing personal is asked for and nothing is collected.

If you write to us — through the contact form or directly — your message and address are kept as correspondence.

03Cookies

There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site. Six cookies are used and all of them do one job: remember that you are signed in.

• uzc_session — staff
• uzc_applicant — applicants
• uzc_founder, uzc_investor, uzc_mentor, uzc_tracker — people in the programme

They are signed and belong to your browser alone. Signing out clears them.

To count how many people have a console open at once, a random identifier is kept in your browser. It is not a name and is not joined to one.

04Analytics

Neither Google Analytics nor Yandex Metrica runs on this site today. The code has a place for them, but no ids are configured, so no analytics script is loaded into your browser.

If that ever changes, this page changes on the same day.

05Who we share with

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to advertisers. Three services are needed for the site to work:

• Resend — delivers our email, so it sees your address and the message
• Google — verifies who you are when you use “Sign in with Google”
• OpenFreeMap and maplibre — the map on the contact page; your browser calls them directly, so they see your IP address

Videos on the news and interviews pages are embedded from YouTube's youtube-nocookie.com host: YouTube sets no cookie until you actually play one.

Beyond those, we disclose data only where the law requires it.

06Where it is kept

The database and uploaded files sit on our own server. Email passes through Resend, so your address leaves Uzbekistan; nothing else does.

07How long we keep it

An application is kept after its batch closes: which team applied and when is part of the programme's record, and it is what we look at if you apply again.

If you ask us to delete it, we delete it — see the next section.

08Your rights

Write to info@uzcombinator.uz and you can ask for:

• a copy of what we hold about you
• a correction to anything recorded wrongly
• deletion of your application and what is attached to it

We answer within thirty days. We will ask you to write from the address the application was made with, so that we know it is you.

This is how we apply the Republic of Uzbekistan's Law on Personal Data.

09Children

The site and the programme are for adult founders. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. For a material change — a new service, for instance — we email the people who have applied.
